In order to ensure the programming of the World Forum on Human rights, a bi-annual event organised by the association, a scientific commission is formed.  Its members – international human rights experts – are nominated upon recommendation by the Chairman of the Executive Board.

The Scientific Commission drafts recommendations with regard to the overall framework of the Forum, its programme and the topics for discussion.  The Commission also drafts recommendations on the selection criteria for participants, for the main speakers and for round table and workshop proposals.
